Wang Enhuai, 1935-2021, was a native of Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China. He was a Chinese master of arts and crafts and was recognized as an expert who received the “Government Special Allowance” awarded by the State Council. From a young age, he learned painting and artistry from his father, Wang Bu, a master of blue and white ceramics and a ceramic artist. Later, he studied porcelain painting techniques under the guidance of Mr. Liu Yucen, one of the “Eight Friends of Zhushan” and a ceramic artist. He studied ceramic arts at the Provincial Ceramic Technical School and subsequently worked at the Ceramic Research Institute of the Ministry of Light Industry (now China National Light Industry Ceramic Research Institute), Jingdezhen Ceramics Factory, and served as the honorary director of the Factory’s Institute of Artistic Research.
